Digital Goods — Generally Non-Refundable
Due to the digital nature of products sold on Forja, all sales are generally final. Once a digital asset has been delivered (made available for download), it is considered received by the buyer.
When You Can Request a Refund
You may file a dispute within 14 days of purchase if:
- The product is materially different from its description or screenshots
- The product does not function as advertised in Roblox Studio
- The product contains malicious code, viruses, or backdoors
- The product is an unauthorized copy of another creator's work
- You were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount)
- The download link is broken and the seller does not respond within 72 hours
How to File a Dispute
- Go to your Purchase Library
- Find the order in question and click "Report Issue"
- Describe the problem in detail with screenshots if applicable
- Our team will review the dispute as soon as possible, typically within a few business days
Alternatively, you can submit a support ticket with your order ID.
Dispute Resolution
When a dispute is filed, Forja will review the claim and may contact both the buyer and seller. Possible outcomes include:
- Full refund — if the product is clearly misrepresented or non-functional
- No refund — if the product matches its description and functions correctly
- Product fix — the seller fixes the issue and redelivers
Non-Refundable Situations
- You changed your mind after purchasing
- You found a similar free asset elsewhere
- The asset doesn't fit your specific use case (if it matches the description)
- You lack the technical skill to implement the asset
- More than 14 days have passed since purchase
For Sellers
If a refund is issued, the sale amount (minus processing fees) will be deducted from your balance. Sellers with a high dispute rate may be subject to account review. We encourage sellers to accurately describe their products and respond promptly to buyer inquiries.
