Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will: (1) remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content, (2) notify the content uploader and issue a strike against their account, and (3) provide the uploader an opportunity to file a counter-notice if they believe the takedown was in error.

Sellers with repeated valid DMCA strikes are subject to account restrictions and permanent suspension under our repeat-infringer policy.

Filing a false DMCA claim is a violation of federal law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and may result in legal liability.
