Questions
How much does Roblox take from a game pass?
30%. You keep 70% of the Robux spent, so a 100 Robux pass leaves you 70 Robux.
What should I charge to get 100 Robux?
143 Robux: 70% of that is 100, rounded down. Roblox's cut comes out of the price, so charge the amount divided by 0.7, rounded up.
Is it the same for developer products?
Yes. Anything sold in Robux in your own game leaves you 70%, developer products included.
What about avatar items?
An avatar item sold on the Roblox Marketplace earns the creator 30%. The same item sold in your own game earns the 70% of an in-game sale.
Why is it called a tax?
It's what players call Roblox's marketplace fee. It isn't a government tax: any tax you owe on what you earn comes on top, where you live.
