Questions

How do I change a shortcut in Roblox Studio?

Choose File, then Advanced, then Customize Shortcuts. Double-click an action's Shortcut field and press the keys you want. You can also give keys to actions that don't have any.

What's the shortcut to anchor a part?

Alt+A on Windows, ⌥A on Mac. Lock is Alt+L, or ⌥L.

How do I group parts into a model?

Select them and press Ctrl+G, or ⌘G on Mac. Alt+Ctrl+G groups them into a folder instead, and Ctrl+U ungroups them.

How do I test a game in Studio?

F5 tests it as your avatar, F8 runs it without your avatar, and Shift+F5 stops it. For several players, pick Server & Clients in the test menu and press F7.

Why don't the F keys work on my Mac?

Mac keyboards often use the top row for brightness and volume. Hold fn with the key, or change that in your Mac's keyboard settings.

Do these work on every keyboard?

They're Studio's defaults. If one does nothing, it may have been changed under Customize Shortcuts, or another app may be using it.
