Roblox game idea generator

Pick a kind of game and a setting, and get three ideas you could build, each with the maps to start on. Free, no account.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick what you like

A kind of game (horror, obby, tycoon…) and where it's set (a city, a haunted house, space…).

  2. 2

    Get three ideas

Each with what players do, why they come back tomorrow, and what to build first. Want more? Ask for another set.

  3. 3

    Start building

Open a map that fits in Roblox Studio and build the first part this week.

What makes each kind of Roblox game work

The map sets the mood for every kind of game. These are the maps people start on.

  • Horror games

Players hide, run and solve things while something hunts them. A dark map with tight halls and places to hide does half the work.

    Horror maps
  • Roleplay games

Players pick a job or a life and make their own stories. A town with houses, shops and places to meet gives them a stage.

    Roleplay maps
  • Simulators and tycoons

Players collect, grow their numbers and unlock new areas. Plan the areas first: each one is a reward.

    Simulator and tycoon maps
  • Fighting and shooters

Short rounds in a well-built arena keep players in for one more match. Cover, high ground and clear paths matter more than size.

    Arena and combat maps
  • Survival games

Players gather, craft and stay alive. Ruins and empty roads tell the story for you, so the map is half the mood.

    Survival maps
  • Racing games

Players race the clock or each other. A track with good corners and shortcuts matters more than a long list of cars.

Game ideas by kind

Nine ideas for each kind of Roblox game, in three settings, with the maps to build them on.

Questions

How does the Roblox game idea generator work?

Pick a kind of game and a setting. An AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) writes three ideas for that pick: what the game is, what players do, why they come back and what to build first. Forja then shows maps from its own listings that fit.

Can I use these ideas in my game?

Yes. They're free suggestions: change them, mix them or use them as they are. You don't need to credit anyone.

Do I get different ideas each time?

Each pick has up to three sets of ideas: press More ideas for a new set. Everyone who makes the same pick sees the same sets for a while, so you can send someone a link to them.

Do I need an account?

No. It's free, with nothing to sign up for.

What should I build first?

Every idea ends with a first step you can finish in about a week. Start on a ready-made map, so that week goes into what makes your game fun.

Where can I get a map, scripts and UI for my game?

Forja has maps for every setting here, plus scripts, UI kits, models and sounds from Roblox creators. Free ones are in Free assets.
